Polk Stanley Rowland Curzon Porter Architects, Ltd. (PSRCP) is
a full service architectural and interior design firm established
in 1977 by Tommy Polk and Joe Stanley. Reese Rowland, Craig Curzon
and David Porter were named as new firm principals in 2001.
In addition to architectural and interior design work, our firm
offers extensive experience in master planning, feasibility studies
Since 1969, the principals of the firm have completed more than
four hundred commissions in Arkansas, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Texas
The scope of our firms work encompasses a variety of building
types including; educational, commercial, government, public, institutional,
medical, residential, master plans, adaptive reuse and renovations.
Over 60% of our current work is from repeat clients.
Working on the UAMS Campus in Little Rock since 1989, PSRCP has
designed the Jones Eye Institute, the Reynolds Center on Aging and
the Arkansas Biosciences Institute.
We have been responsible for many notable buildings in Arkansas,
such as the Acxiom River Market Tower, the New Main Library for
CALS, the Bell Engineering Center and the Arkansas Union Addition
on the University of Arkansas Fayetteville Campus, Pavilion in the
Park, and numerous corporate headquarters and office buildings for
Stephens Inc., Alltel Corporation and Acxiom Corporation, and the
Chamber Center in Little Rock.
PSRCPs work has received recognition for design excellence,
winning more than 40 state and regional awards, as well as coverage
in a number of local, regional and national publications.
Several new commissions along with on-going projects for established
clients in the Northwest Arkansas area prompted the firms
expansion to a branch office in Fayetteville in 2000.
PSRCP is currently involved with the two largest LEED certification-candidate
projects in Arkansas: The William J. Clinton Presidential Library
and Park (PSRCP is the local lead architectural firm, working with
the national lead architectural design firm, Polshek Partners, and
the national lead landscape design firm, Hargreaves & Associates)
and the new Headquarters and Global Village for Heifer Project International
(PSRCP is the architectural design firm and coordinating firm for
the LEED effort).
